One of the most successful tools used at Michelle G. Winner's Center for Social Thinking is the Social Behavior Map (SBM).  Michelle developed the SBM as a cognitive behavior strategy to teach individuals about the specific relationship between behaviors, other's perspective, other's actions (consequences), and the student's own emotions about those around him or her. The SBM is a visual tool that displays these abstract concepts through a flow chart.

This resource was produced by The Gray Center in conjunction with Michelle Garcia Winner. It is intended to assist parents and professionals in facilitating social thinking and related skills. It is a two-part video series: the first video consists of a workshop that Michelle presents to help define the ILAUGH framework (a six-point model of social cognition). The second demonstrates Michelle working with both elementary and high school aged children in individual and group sessions.
