PRESENTATION BY NICK DUBIN (Grand Rapids, MI, Thursday, May 10th from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m.) Do you have a son, daughter, relative, friend, client, or student diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (AS)? Are you an adolescent or adult diagnosed with AS?
Come to hear both a personal and professional perspective from author and consultant Nick Dubin. Nick's experiences as an adult on the autism spectrum typify both the strengths and the frustrations experienced by many individuals with Asperger's. Whether you're currently focused on becoming more familiar with Asperger's, with surviving school struggles, standing up to or discouraging bullying, transitioning to college, or gaining successful employment, Mr. Dubin's informative, engaging presentation will convince you that that success is possible, and that creative solutions start by being open to all possibilities. This presentation is open to people with Asperger's and their families and friends, as well as professionals and interested community members. It will be held on Thursday, May 10th from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. at the Wisner Center at the Cascade Public Library.
Pre-registration is required. Click here to REGISTER ONLINE, or call The Gray Center at 616-954-9747. Registration is only $25 per person. |
