Cancellations and Returns

The Gray Center is committed to selling high-quality resources that are of great benefit to parents, teachers, and individuals with ASD. We hope that the resources you purchase from The Gray Center will help you in your work of promoting social understanding. However, we understand that our customers will occasionally need to cancel or return an order. So that we may best accommodate you, please note our policies, below:

How to cancel your order

Returns


In the event that you need to return a book, video, or DVD to The Gray Center due to damage in shipping or the fact that the resource did not meet your needs, please contact our sales staff within 5 days of receipt at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to explain. Please note that ALL RETURNS REQUIRE PRIOR AUTHORIZATION from our sales staff. (Please note also that this policy applies to single purchases that were NOT purchased for resale).

How to return your order
Authorized returns are eligible for either a refund (see important information, below) or replacement provided that they are received by The Gray Center within 2 weeks of the original order. The return shipping will be your responsibility. All returned items must be in NEW condition and packaged carefully to avoid damage during re-shipping. Once you have obtained prior authorization, please send your return item(s) to The Gray Center:

Important Notes:

  • All refunds will be credited to the payment form used for the original purchase, less shipping and a 15% re-stocking fee.
  • Exchanges are subject to availability. 
  • Refunds or exchanges will only be given for NEW materials received in our office within 2 weeks of the original order.
  • Unauthorized, late, or damaged returns will be credited at 25% of original value toward future purchases from The Gray Center. No refunds or exchanges will be given for unauthorized returns, damaged goods (those that were damaged after leaving our facility) or those received later than the stated 2 weeks.
  • EXCEPTION: If The Gray Center determines that your DVD or VHS was defective prior to being sent to you, we will send you a replacement at no cost. We will also reimburse the cost of shipping the damaged resource back to our office.

 

RESELLERS

We are pleased that you are interested in Gray Center resources, and willing to promote them through your exhibits and web sites. We are generally able to provide excellent and timely customer service even for large orders (for resources that were published by The Gray Center). Please note that we do not accept returns on materials purchased for resale. We also do not offer items on consignment. Fee for Insuficient Funds

Please note that there will be a $25 fee assessed if a check is returned to us for insufficient funds. Please plan accordingly when placing an order.
