Many excellent books, videos, and DVDs are available for purchase from our online store. The proceeds from the sale of these resources help The Gray Center to provide programming and produce new resources.

Other books can be borrowed from our resource library in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are always happy to accept donations of new or gently used books or other resources related to social understanding and/or ASD.

Individuals new to a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders may appreciate the new publication, ASD to Z, by Laurel A. Hoekman. This small booklet provides basic information about the diagnosis and available services and resources, along with encouragement and hope for those living with the diagnosis. This is also a great resource to give to grandparents, teachers, and childcare providers!

Parents new to the diagnosis can read about the journey from the perspective of the Hoekman family, which has two sons diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. You may find help for your future and encouragement for the road you're walking while reading Pathways to Progress (see links to the right).
